Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVALENTINAS JONAS (VAL) SIMANAVICIUS Val passed away peacefully on April 18, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Val was born January 20, 1924 at Jurbakas, Lithuania, immigrated to Denmark in 1945. He arrived in Canada in 1950, was married in 1951 and established a career as a welder and pipe-fitter. He is survived by his ex-wife Bronislava Simanavicius, one daughter, two sons, five grandchildren, sister Elena Svenningson, also one niece and one nephew. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday April 22 at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783- 7211
